Guitars are one of the most commonly used musical instruments and my little brother is asking one from me as my gift for him. He told me that he prefers ibanez as103 I am not really familiar with this brand and I was thinking that this sounds like Hispanic in origin. Anyway I have not promised him yet about buying, but if he really needs it to develop his musical abilities then I would definitely get one. Maybe when he will start jamming for a band I will buy him immediately.

Babies are blessing especially when they are twins

My cousin will deliver her baby two to three weeks from now and she said that she is very excited with the coming of her angels. Since they are angels it is definitely twins. Since her children will be twin I decided to give the couple a double strollers so that they can bring the babies outside to get fresh air and sunlight. It will be my gift for them this time besides being a cousin they are also a very good friend. I wish good health for the babies too.

Mumbai formerly known as Bombay, everything in the city is done with passion, whether that’s eating a thali, a metal plate full of curries, chapatis and sweets; watching a Bollywood film; talking local politics in the chai shops; or indulging in India’s national obsession, cricket. Those unfamiliar with cricket will be confused at best, and those who follow it will never find themselves struggling for conversation with a Mumbaikar. Cricket is everywhere in the stadiums (the Indian Premier League competition runs until May 28th), in the city’s parks, on TV, and even on the streets. In case things aren’t insane enough, come through Mumbai in November, when the traditional Diwali festival is on. Strings of lights and paper lanterns cover the city while everyone celebrates by throwing fireworks. Safe? No. Interesting? For sure. Don’t even bother going to Mumbai’s restaurants to eat. The city’s best food is sold by its street vendors for next to nothing. Grab a vada pav or an onion bhajji, and wash it down with chai. You’ll probably be ready for a beer then, and there’s good news: The bars of Colaba are upmarket but affordable for even the budget traveler, and they’re buzzing with life. Just like the rest of the city.

Repairing my computer desk drawer

The drawer of my computer desk is damage because the drawer slide has been rusty. I knew I was wrong when I bought this desk because it is made in China, no offense with the Chinese brands, but I really made a mistake in buying the desk. The sales clerk advised me to get the desk from Sweden, but I reluctantly chose the brand from Asia. So right now I have this problem with its part and I am searching for a drawer slide as replacement. I am studying on how to fix the desk so that I wouldn’t have to call for a repairman.

The laboratory results of my friend was misfiled

I went to a hospital yesterday because my friend was confined there. As I visited her I noticed that her checks out med carts and he was looking for something. According to him he was looking for the results of the laboratory tests of my friend he knew just placed it there. He was thinking that the assistants seem to have misfiled it. Anyway after several minutes of searching for it he finally found it and he gave the results to my friend. The tests were all normal and my friend was relieved from her worries.

Samoa switched time

This post goes to people who love to travel the Samoan Island chains. Well last Thursday the 29th of December 2011 the Samoa (not the American Samoa) skipped Friday-no December 30 that means after Thursday midnight it is Saturday. The switch is aims to be closer to the Far Eastern times. According to Samoan Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, Samoa does more business with Asian countries so it is crucial to have closer time with them. As for the American Samoa particularly in Pago-Pago the time will remain the same since there is more trade with US mainland in the territory. Hope there will be no confusion with the travelers in this Pacific island chains.

I love yoyo and I still purchase them

Sometimes my fixation to toys suddenly comes out and my weakness is for diabolos yoyo. When I was in my grade school years my mom will not buy me yoyo because she has this fear that it will hit my eyes so I just sneak in toy store along with my friends to buy some yoyos using my allowance for the month. When I got broke I will ask my mom for cash advances that resulted in her suspicion that I am buying stuff that ruin my allowance. Well anyway that’s the time that I get into trouble with mom because of all the toys why should I buy yoyo? So at that point I am no longer interested with yoyos until such time when the crazed is back thanks to a Japanese anime series featuring yoyo tricks. So right now I buy yoyo without second thoughts as long as I like the design and it should be capable of tricks.

France’s first artisan eatery opened this year and already created a le buzz. There are ten new Singer machines available for hire, and a central communal table. With a motto of “less buying, more trying”, the idea is to drop by for a coffee and a piece of cake, and start sewing-for about $7.50 an hour or $69 for ten hours. The owners also offer five different courses a week, led by professional designers, on knitting, sewing and modern embroidery techniques.
