Life has been very busy these days because we are preparing ourselves on a trip in the Far East, well we will be going to the city of Manila on the island of Luzon. At first we were choosing between Singapore or Taipei, but we wanted to experience the warm culture of a mixture of Spanish and Asian in Manila.
Our tourist guide will accompany us in our stay in Manila it is part of their package. According to our activity we will go first in the city of Intramuros. This is an interesting place to visit because of its history, the Spanish colonist established this walled city in order to protect the catholic citizen from the local rebels. After visiting Intramuros, we will be heading to an Ocean Park still in Manila well this is not new to me, but since it is part of the package I will still enjoy the place. Our accommodations will be in Shangri-la in Manila and I wish our stay will be okay.
Finally we were advised by our tour guide to have a sunscreen because the city have high intensity of sunlight during the midday. Plus we were also advised to be very vigilant because like any other developing city Manila has many pick pocketing goons. Over all we really hope that our stay will be the best in the Far East.

For eating local, have your guide suggest somewhere that you might try some BBQ pork or chicken on a stick, lechon kawili, for a different experience from McD’s. And if you get the craving for fast food, maybe try their version of a burger joint – Jollibee.
